Great New Years Resolutions
As 2008 draws to an end, it is a perfect time to think of how you would like to make 2009 different. What are your goals? What are your dreams? (And, of course, how does jewelry fit into all of this?) Creating and Sticking to Goals We all have dreams, yet, many of us, at times, forget them. That is why the habit of reviewing where you are – and creating goals for the new year is so important. Goals are essential to finding a way to create your dreams. So dream a bit and break it up into bite site pieces so you have attainable goals. There is most likely something you really want and is worth working towards. So write it down and create a plan. Once you have a plan, sometimes you need reminding of the plan. That is whereinspirational jewelry fits in. It helps you to remember to work towards your goals everyday. Of course, you can use post it notes on your refrigerator or bathroom mirror as well. Jewelry is fun, so we recommend it. Getting Organized Having a way to organize your jewelry can help you find it better. Now is a great time to implement these types of tips in your life and to reap the rewards of being organized. Clean and Repair When you have items that need repair, they take up space and just sit there. They cause a small stress as you feel like there is a task that needs doing that you just aren’t finishing. Now is a great time to sort through that pile and get things fixed (if appropriate), reused, or sold/given away. It feels better having your space back and your task list shortened! To apply this to jewelry, go through your jewelry box and sort into piles: jewelry you wear and is in great condition, jewelry you wear but needs cleaning, jewelry you would like to wear but needs repair, and jewelry that takes up space. Here is a nice article on how to clean up your jewelry box. Changing Your Life Though we talked lots about jewelry – apply this to your whole life. You have the opportunity to make 2009 the best year ever. You can do it. Make goals you want and stick to them. If you organize your belongings (and your thoughts!), it gets easier. Cleaning up and repairing your belongings can make it simpler to focus on what is important to you.Another thing we also recommend with the New Year is to get organized. It helps you feel better. You can find things easier so less time is wasted. You know what you have do you don’t waste money buying a duplicate. The reasons go on and on. Knowing what you have can help you obtain what you don’t have easier. You know what tools you can use and how to use them.
